I have studied two church records from the Lutheran parish of Wintersbourg, Lorraine : 1688-1729 and 1729-1752. Unfortunately the 1688-1729 record only mentions the baptisms. The marriage and death records are lost. The 1729-1752 record mentions the baptisms, marriages and deaths, although some pages of the manuscript are illegible. According to these books, six Kocher families lived at Hangwiller, Lorraine, between 1700 and 1750. But there is no mention of a possible immigration from Holtzenhausen, Nassau - Dillenburg, to Lorraine. Sorry. Plenty of Swiss families immigrated to Alsace-Lorraine between 1650 and 1750, but very few German families.
1. Hans Georg KOCHER (sponsor in 1720), married Anna Maria ZURBRUCK, both reformed. Emigrated to PA. on board the St. Andrew in 1737. Four children : a daughter (no name), bap. 25 Feb. 1726, Hans Philipp (bap. 21 Dec. 1728), Johann Heinrich (born 8 Aug. 1731, sponsor in 1747. He did not emigrate in 1737) and Johann Georg (born 11 Nov. 1736).

Are they recorded in a ship list ? I am not aware of their connection with the Kochers of Hangwiller, but they were probably related, because Pfalzweyer, Hangwiller and Bust are located very close ont to another, as well as Wintersbourg and Schalbach.
