I don't know if there is a connection or not. I have almost no information about the Koehl's in my family. The information I do have is through my Dad and he does not have any documentation. He was told that the three brothers came to New York from Alsace Lorraine and then they split up. Until I can link someone to John Koehl born between 1874 and 1882 (probably in KY) I won't know for sure. If I find any connections I will let you know. Thank you.
