Charles Koepke..Prussia 1850's

My Great-Great-Grandparents were Charles L.F. Koepke and Fredericka Hendricks. They emigrated to Ashland, Pennsylvania in 1853/57, leaving their homeland of Prussia behind. Their first-born son (my great grandfather) was John Koepke, born March 14, 1858 in Ashland. The next listing I have for him was his marriage license on November 5, 1882 in Reinbeck, Iowa where he married Annie Peterson. This was the first indication that he was most likely the person who changed the spelling from KOEPKE to KEOPKE. His own signature on the marriage license used the latter spelling. He and Annie had seven children. Their 5th child (my Grandfather) was William Keopke, born April 22, 1889 in Palermo (now Grundy Center), Iowa. William married Emma Emaline Edcar Clary November 28, 1907 in Joplin, Missouri. Their 5th child (my father) was Harry Keopke. Harry was born March 20, 1917 in Joplin, Missouri. He married Letha Fern Etter on December 16, 1938 in Miami, Oklahoma. Letha was born September 2, 1921 in Joplin, Missouri to John Logan Etter and Annie Viola (McPeak) Etter.
