Charles Koepke from Chicago (in 1919)

Trying to find descendants of Charles Koepke (served in WWI with my grandfather). He wrote a letter to my grandfather that my Mom would like to pass on to any of his descendants (or his siblings' descendants). She said there were a lot of interesting things in this letter, and I think it would make her feel good to pass it on to his family.

Letter has his address as 1509 W 51st St, Chicago (as of 1919, when he returned from WWI), and my Craigslist posting had a response providing the following info, which seems to correlate to what the letter noted:

1) Charles was born in IL 3/14/1891 This is based on 1920 and 1930 Census documents and his WWI Draft Registration Card. In 1920, he did live at 1509 W. 51st St in Chicago, but by 1930, he and his wife Georgianna were living at 1008 New Street in Danville, IL. He worked for the railroad. In 1930, he and his wife had no children that appeared on the Census. On the 1910 Census, Charles had two siblings, Emma, born 1893-1894 and Edward born 5/26/1899.

2) Edward also filled out a WWI Draft Registration Card. That's where I got his DOB. In 1930 he worked as a Streetcar Conductor in Chicago, lived at 3129 Richmond Street in Chicago and was married to a woman named Eleanor, but unfortunately at the time of the 1930 Census, they had not had any children.

If you can help me find someone from his family, or would just like me to scan the letter in and post it online, please contact me (rwells) at his dot com.
