Dear Sue:
I am Kenneth Kofoed and a descendant of the Bornholm Koefoeds etc and have some information that is most fascinating about our lineage.I had the chance to go to Denmark, Bornhom in particular by way of Lubeck/Wismar and Rugen Germany last year.I found some info in a library and have had it translated andhave personally composed a booklet of about 70 pages on our history and the political and culturalstuff from which we cam.It is so engrossing if I can say so myself! My copying costs are upwards of $25 per copy including the shipping costs for some I've mailed to other interested parties. We mostly come from Hans Ancher Kofoed who emigrated in 1857 and has a large descendancy in the Intermountain area Utah/Idaho.The stuf in the book is largely from Mr Klindt in Bornholm who wrote a thesis in 1979.In any event the offer is yours to consider and any proceeds will go to a monument I hope to install next Spring on his gravesite I recently found in a little town on the Utah northern border.
Contact me via email or send me a check and I will forward one of the last 18 copies left.
