ANNA B. CHAMBERLAIN, daughter of SAMUEL and MARTHA CHAMBERLAIN, was born at Oakville, Pa., May 2, l870, and died at Des Moines, Iowa, May l9, l9l8, aged 48 years and l7 days. She came to Iowa with her parents in April, l877.
She was married to THOMAS L. KOGER in June, l887. To this union seven children were born, BERTHA ALBEE, Des Moines; HARRY KOGER, Des Moines; WALTER, Des Moines, now in the service of the U.S. at Camp Pike, Ark.; LELA DIEGEL, Milwaukee, Wis.; HELEN and GEORGIA, of Des Moines and PAULINE, who died in infancy.
There also remains to mourn her loss, her aged father, her step-mother, one sister and four brothers. Her husband died some years ago.
She united with the Methodist Church South about l884, in which class she held membership at the time of her death. Funeral services were conducted from the Christian Church at Decatur, Wednesday morning, May 22nd, at l0 o'clock, by the Pastor, Henry Esch. Interment was in the Decatur Cemetery.
