Louisa Koger was the daughter of Alvin Koger(b. 11 Feb. 1820 Parmleysville, Wayne County, Kentucky d. 27 Dec. 1909 McKinney, Wayne County, Kentucky buried in Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Parmleysville, Kentucky)m. 19 Nov. 1843 Wayne County, KY - Sarah (Sallie) Lovelace(b. 12 Mar. 1825 Parmleysville, KY d. May 1880 Wayne County, Kentucky buried in Bethel Baptist Cemetery) Alvin was the son of William Koger and Mary "Polly" Bookout. Sarah was the daughter of John Lovelace and Mary "Polly" Cooper. In the 1860 Wayne County Census, Alvin is listed as a farmer. Alvin and Sallie had the following children(these would be siblings to your Louisa Koger Gregory- she was child #3)): Isaac Koger, Sr.; John Koger; Louisa; Calvin Koger; Mary Jane Koger; Charles Koger(who is my gggrandfather);George Washington Koger; Sarah Ann Koger; William A. Koger; Sarilda Ann Koger; and Leann Koger. My records show that Louisa's husband was William M. Gregory. William and Louisa's daughter, Mary Jane Gregory was born Dec. 1, 1865 and married James Bell 10 Apr 1884.
