Picking up with question #16.
Ella Havillah Williams was born in Colleton County, SC on 6 January 1859. Her parents were Henry Allen Williams and Martha Risher and a granddaughter of Joseph Koger Risher(1807=1868) She was the first wife of Doctor Charles English Kinsey. Ella passed away on 31 Dec 1894 and was buried in the Smoaks Baptist Church Cemetery, Smoaks, Colleton County, SC. There are a number of Kinsey graves near Ella but my impression is most were in-laws. Dr. Joseph Jackson Stokes of Atlanta, Georgia put together a book titled HENRY STOKES OF COLLETON COUNTY. Dr. Stokes indicated that Ella married Charles Kinsey on 20 October 1878.

#17 and #18 Dr. Charles Kinsey was born on 1 March 1854 and passed away on 3 July 1913. He died at Williams, SC and was buried at the Williams Town Cemetery. DR. J.J. Stokes indicates that Charles married his second wife, Louvena Risher on 9 Oct. 1895 She was refered to as Lulu and her tombstone shows her as Lulu Kinsey. She was born 11 July 1864 and passed away 23 July 1941. She is buried beside Charles. Charles and Lulu had 7 children.

#19: These are the children and their spouces of Dr. Charles Kinsey and his first wife Ella Williams.
Junior Child Kinsey(22 Feb 1888 -12 Feb 1958) married Pearl Strickland(8 Feb 1891- 20 June 1972). Junior and Pearl are buried at the Williams Town Cemetery.
Williams *the "s" isn't a typo) M. Kinsey ( 9 Jan. 1881-3 Sept. 1934) and Francis L. Kinsey (6 July 1891-18 Dec. 1911)
are buried near their father in the Williams Town Cemetery.
Apparently neither married. Charles E. Kinsey, Jr. is also buried in the Williams Town Cemetery, his tombstone shows 1889-1916. Don't have any information on the others, if something is found, I will update.

#20, already supplied information.

#21. Erasmus Kinsey was born in 1864 and passed away on 9 January 1936 at the home of his daughter Mrs. John Wiseman in Savannah, Georgia. He was buried in Bonaventure Cemetery
in Savannah. Survivors included Mrs. Wiseman another daughter Mrs. W. W. Ditmann of Waycross, Georgia, and three sons. J. Chandler Kinsey was living in Natal, Brazil; Hamilton R. Kinsey was living in Los Angles, Calif and J. W. Kinsey was living in Washington, DC. Erasmus and his brother Dr. Charles Kinsey were sons of William Kinsey and Harriet Kinsey nee Smoak

#22 already done.
#23 Sarah Caroline Williams was a daughter of Henry Allen Williams. Sarah was born on 6 Feb 1867 and passed away on 1 March 1933. She died in St. Augustine, Florida and was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery there. Dr. J.J. Stokes was suppled some information about Sarah from one of her descendants Elizabeth Horan. Interestingly, to me at least, Stokes wrote "...nothing is known about the ancestory of Henry A. Williams," and then shows Hnery only having one child, Sarah Caroline Williams. Questions #24 through #33 all apply to Sarah and her husband Barney Carter.

#24 Barney Carter was born on 17 October 1868 and passed away 2 July 1908. He was living in St. Augustine, Flordia when he died and his remains were returned to Williams, SC. Barney was buried in the Joseph Koger Risher Cemetery. Recently, someone in the tombstone business indicated that if Barney's monument was purchased today, it would cost about $65,000. Barney's father was Hansford D. Carter (1825-1911) who was also buried in the Joseph Koger Risher Cemetery.

#25 Flo Carter was a daughter of Barney and Sarah Carter. Mrs. Horan apaprently did not supply Dr. Stokes with dates or other information about Flo and her husband.

#26 Sara Patricia Haigler is a daughter of Flo and her husband. Probably Sara was still living when Mrs. Horan supplied Dr. Stokes with information and for this reason did not provide anything.

Going by Elizabeth Horan's information, Shirley Jean Haigler was a granddaughter of Barney Carter. Shirley was born in Florida on 18 June 1927, she married Joseph Marshall
Lane on3 Sept. 1949,

Joseph Marshall Lane was born on 4 July 1925 and passed away
on 7 January 1986. Joe's parents were James Arthur Lane and Nancy Elizabeth Powell.
Arthur Marshall Lane was born 20 June 1950; he married Cathy Deaton Rawlings on 30 June 1979, Cathy was born on
25 April 1951, Arthu's and Cathy's children are: Matthew Jospeh Lane; Weasley Hunter Lane, and Joseph Barnard Lane, The latter was born on 23 July 1957

Shirley Elizabeth (Betsey) Lane was born on 5 August 1952; she married John Duane Horan on 17 August 1985. John was born on 30 April 1952. Children are: Helen Jean Horan born
on 4 August 1986 and Katherine Duane Horan born 11 April 1988. The Horans were living near Daytona Beach, Florida.

#33 I have no information on Barney Carter's other children Ione, Herbert, and Barney.

34 In 2002, Millie Warren Brunson published THE SMYLY FAMILY OF COLLETON COUNTY SOUTH CAROLINA. Included are Georgetta Kathryn "Kate" Williams and her husband Joseph Alexander Smyly. Before beggining, Mrs. Warren is also a Koger descendant on her paternal side. Her paternal grandmother was a daughter of Dr. Charles Kinsey and Lulu Risher. Millie's great greatgrandfather was Capt Joseph Koger Risher son of Francis Fontaine Risher and Harriet Williams. Her paternal grandfather's line goes back to Harriet Williams and her second husband George Warren.

Kate Williams was born 15 Sept. 1872 and she passed away on
14 Sept. 1945. On 18 Dec 1892, Kate married Jospeh Alexander Smyly (25 Sep 1871 - 23 May 1942). Alex was born in Ruffin, SC. The Smylys moved to Florida sometime after 1900 and both were buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in St. Augustine. They had nine children.
