Hello, Koger cousins!
I am desended form Charles Koger and Sythe Rice through their son Ebenezer (Ebin) Koger and Cyrena York, then their daughter Mary Jane Koger and Benjamin Sells.
It still sometimes amazes me that as a teenager, I actually visted Ben sells and Mary jane Kogers daughter, Arie, (My great aunt, and saw a photo of Sythie which they called granny Koger. She live to be 107.
I am wondering if any of you happen to have Mary Jane kogers siblins: Ebin is hard to find, but I did find him living with another family in the 1870 census, but I forgot which family Ebin Koger and wife Cyrena were living with at that time.
At any rate; I beliveve I have them all listed in a file in the genealogy room at the Franklin Co. library in Winchester, Tn. under the Brewer heading and I haven't had time to go there and retrieve them and wondered if any of you had them on hand and could send them to me. Too, does anynoe konw if any Koger reunions are going on here in the south..........................Auf Wiedersehen, Doug.
