Valentine lived in southeastern Poland ( Rzeshev ( not spelled correctly ).
My great grandfather was Valentine Kogut. My grandfather was Joseph John Kogut. He passed away in 1995. Joseph and John moved to Buffalo, NY in roughly 1911. Joseph married Francis Gaj and John married Rose Gaj( sisters ). Joseph had one son ( Eugene J.). Eugene has five sons - ( Lawrence, Paul, Mark , Stephen, and Eugene F. John had three children, Micheal, John, and Christina. It was my understanding that Katrazyna's maiden name was Rzesutko. She married twice I believe in Buffalo. The first marriage was to a man named Kaminski. The second to a Mr.Mazgai? I can be reached at How are you related to the Kogut's?
