I have nothing but the name Valentine Kohlhauff and that he was the father of William Frederick Kohlhauff. Wm. F. was born 21 Oct. 1828. The form which I have also shows a Martin Joseph Kohlhauff who died in 1844 at the age of 95 1/2 and it looks as if Valentine and Martin could have been brothers possibly. There is then a line going up to another person who I have tried and tried to read the name of but it is a poor copy. I could possibly be a last name of "Albons"? but as I said it is very difficult to read. It does however continue on to say that "was a soldier w/ Napoleon Bonapart and rec'd medals of honor......"
