Kohls in relation to Kalka and Wrase

Hello. I have Kohls in my Wrase/Kalka line. Wilhelmine Wrase (who married into my Kalka line) came over on a ship with her family, in which her brothers each had 'Kohls' as their middle name. Since discovering this, I have began to pursue the reason. It was obvious a family name, and because of its reoccurrence, possibly an immediate family name. Both of these families (Wrase/Kalka) settled in Green Bay/Milwaukee, WI, which makes Caroline so interesting. Mathias Kalka (b.c. 1824) immigrated in 1856. The Wrase family immigrated a year later, in 1857. Both parties claimed Green Bay as their destination, so could they have known each other before they came? So I was wondering, do you have either Wrase or Kalka in your family lineage? If so, perhaps we can pinpoint in its relation to these families.
