Brothers Theodore C., William, and John Frederick Koehne (b. 11/6/1845, d. 6/9/1918) immigrated in the mid 1800's from an area near Hamburg, Germany. John Frederick is my g-g-grandfather. Theodore went to Salisbury, MO and William went to Chicago. John lived in St. Louis, MO, Carlyle, IL and Coffeyville, KS. The brothers were originally Catholic; however, parts of the family had fallings-out with the Church as well. Do you know what part of Germany your family came from?
