Kok family, name changed to Coe, Jewish

Hi all,

I'm researching my family tree, and apparently my uncle had papers that were lost when he died indicating that the Coe branch of my family is descended from Dutch Jews who used the surname Kok, perhaps Koch, before they immigrated to the States, apparently pre Civil War, and perhaps before the Revolutionary War. If anyone has any information on this, or any William (Willem) or Isaac (Izaak) Kok/Koch/Coe in the late 1700s, early to mid 1800s, please send me a message.

Warm regards,
