William Joseph Koller
WILLIAM JOSEPH KOLLER Bill entered into rest on December 31 at the age of 82. A native of Edgemont, South Dakota, Bill graduated from Brigham Young University, was a World War II veteran and a retired teacher from Hillsdale High School. A lifelong advocate for charitable causes on the Peninsula, Bill was the founding president of the St. Pius St. Vincent de Paul Conference and the Redwood City Area Homeless Conference. Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy, and is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; daughters, Annette Perot and Margaret Stocking; stepdaughters, Sylvia Drown, Linda Antons and Mary Cardenas; grandchildren, Jessica Sprague, Travis Perot, Amanda Baffico, Jeni Jobe, Matthew Jones, Hans Cardenas, Chris Cardenas, Michelle Antons and Isabel Antons; great-granddaughters, Raegan Jobe, Sierra Sprague and Savannah Sprague. A memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at St. Pius Catholic Church, 1100 Woodside Road, and a 6:30 p.m. vigil Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at The Woodside Chapel of Crippen & Flynn, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City. Interment, Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, Redwood City Area Conference, 2600 Middlefield Road Redwood City, CA 94063.
