Komer, Hermina, Hun/Ger>OH>PA. b.1870

My father's birth certificate lists his mother as Hermina Komer, born in Hungary about 1870, and his father as Jance (John) Rung, born in Hungary about 1871. When my father (fifth child) was born 9-29-1911 they were living in Cuyahoga Co./Cleveland, OH, but they later moved to the Sharon, PA area, and some descendants still live North of New Castle, PA.

Is John a translation of Jance, because the typewritten Jance is crossed out and John is written in in pen on the birth certificate.

Do you have any connection?

Bobbi
