Hello Barbara and thanks. Your information on the Koppes family has been a big boost.
A few years ago when we retired my wife and I started our family trees and included in our efforts all of our cousins surnames, among them Koppes. It has been a tough nut, just bits and pieces until now. You have tied together a lot of loose strings and made sense out of confusion. My cousin John's family descends from son John, 1852 Freeport, Illinois.
If you could use any information that we have on them; it's yours and if you can think of anything further that you have that might help us we would welcome it.
