I am looking for information on Charles Wayne Lilly. All I really know about him serving is that he was a part of WWII and the Korean War. He was born in Evansville, Indiana in 1926. Per obit records on his father in 1945, Pvt Wayne Lilly, Cmp Wolters, Tex. He died in 1962. Per his Obit he served WWII and Korean War.
I really don't have any other information regarding him serving in the Korean War but would really appreciate any info or leads one can give. I have no clue how to research an ancestor that was in the service. I would even appreciate clues on how to go about that.
