Meaning of Korean War

I joined the naval reserve after WW II and had three months left to serve when I was called back
into the Navy (I was a specialist--radioman 1/c). At this time they added another 12 months on my
period. I was put on AOG1 (USS Patasco) and haul gasoline from Pearl Harbor to Midway. I did
not actually go to Korea. My question is an I still considered a Korean Vet.? Thank you
for your response.
