Hello, my name is Amanda. My grandfather was also in the Korean War. I don't really know much about why the Korean War happened. I can say that I am very glad that my grandfather lived through it. Had he not made it through the war, I wouldn't be here today.

He had met a woman by the name of Marta Czypionka while there and during their relationship, had my mother. My grandfathers name was Spencer Buchanan. I didn't really know him, cause he disowned my mother when he remarried here in the states. So I never got to ask him anything about why the war happened, or anything else.

Could you tell me why the war happened, and if we accomplished our duty in having it?

My email addy is adawnc@ohiohills.com
