Occupational Medal

My father was stationed in Mannheim, Germany during the Korea War. On his seperation papers, it says he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and an Occupational Medal(Germany). I have been trying to find what the occupational medal looks like, but have not been able to find any info. Also would he be eligible for the UN Service Medal?
Thanks for any info!
