I am helping Dencell Rogers search for his father J.H. "Blackie"Rogers who was probably born in MS in 1908/09. His father was in the navy as a Chief Petty officer stationed in Charleston S.C. from about 1953-55. His mother was Nola Mae Luxton. She was from Uvalde Co. TX. She probably met Mr. Rogers in S.C..They may have had another child about 1956, Wendell Glenn Rogers. Dencell was born in Midland, Texas in 1959. J.H. and Nola seperated shortly after his birth. If you know anything about any of these people please e-mail me directly at Pmsbetty1@aol.com.
