Hi Jessica Hite,

My grandfather, Charles Maniau Makeelani Kamauoha, Jr., served in the Korean War, but I believe it was earlier than 1954 since my dad was born in 1954 and they were in Preston, Idaho at the time teaching high school. They later moved to Glendora, California where he did luau shows with a group called the Mellow Tones. He and Lueen had five children: Ginger, John, Spencer, Kaylani, and Janalee. He passed away after a motorcycle accident he was in when my dad, Spencer, was 10, which was 1964 I believe. My grandma Lueen then moved to Payson, Utah and remarried.

Who are your parents? If you are a Kamauoha, it is very likely we are related.

Aloha Nui,
Korrie Kamauoha
