SP3 85 Trans Co Korea US Army

I have a relative who was a veteran of Korea who was an SP3 in the US Army 85 Trans Co Unit. This is what is stated on his headstone (he is buried in a veterans grave, Mill Springs Cemetery, Nancy, Kentury).

Can any kind person please tell me what an SP3 is please & when (what years) this Regiment/Unit served in Korea. I'm not resident in the US & don't entirely understand the Army terminology.

I'm also keen to get hold of his service records but don't quite know how to go about doing so.

Thanks so much in advance for any replies received.
