I just got this Korinek name added to the forum by requesting it. There is an on line form you fill out. I got some of my family to fill it out also; they said the more people who requested it, the more likely it would be added. It took a couple of months, I think, so be patient if you want your name added.

I have tried to find my g-grandfather through census records, but it's kind of difficult without his first name. And I haven't been able to find any of my grandfather's siblings names listed with a family either. It's kind of strange. All I have is what my father and a couple cousins have told me.

Are you still in touch with your friend from school? If so, I'd be interested in knowing where in the country you lived at the time. I have heard that all Korinek's in the US are related - but I am a bit skeptical - maybe.
