I checked out the Koring site and found your message. There used to be Korings who lived along the Somerset/Westmoreland County border back in the late 1800's through the early 1900's. I don't have their names, only that there was a Charles and Katie (Shaulis) Koring and a Clara (Koring) Beck. My great-aunt (who is 90) remembers a car stopping in front of their home one evening. A man came to the door and asked if deLillie was there, deLillie being Lillie, my gr-grandmother. They knew each other as kids. That's all I know of them around here. It may not even help you, but maybe with the Shaulis and Beck links, you can find something that may go back to your family.
