I am searching for information regarding my great-grandparents. My grandmother, the light of my life, Maude Kornegay Bowden Hunt, passed away in April, 1998 in Virginia. Her father and mother have always been a mystery. They were the parents of 13 children. My grandmother mentioned one of her brothers, Gilbert. And I met 3 of her sisters, Clara, Esther(deceased), and Eleanora (deceased). I know my great-grandmother's maiden name was OUTLAW. My grandmother mentioned Duplin Co.(NC), Goldsboro, and being in Calypso. If memory serves me correctly I'm looking for info. on John Kornegay and Mary or Martha Outlaw both born approx. after 1850. My grandmother was born on June 6, 1917. She married twice, once to Currie Bowden and once to Willie Hunt. My grandmother's children are James Bowden (deceased), Hattie Viola Bowden (Thompson) and my father, Carl Nelson Bowden, Sr. Any info is sincerely appreciated. I'm at a place in life whereas I need to know all I can about my family. Thanks.
