Hello. My name is Gwen Knight. My mother is a Kornegay. I can fill you in on the decendants as far as I know (not a whole bunch) My mother is Lynda Jean Kornegay Knight of Milano Tx in Milam COunty, one of six children born to Alex "Bulldog" Kornegay (3/30/1925-1/12/1990) and Margie Marie Shafer Kornegay. My mother's siblings are as follows: Micheal Wayne Kornegay Of the Woodlands, TX; Garry Wayne Kornegay of Cameron, TX; Margaret Elaine Kornegay Brashear of Pflugerville, TX; Patricia Kornegay Shaw of Hearne, TX; Cheryl Lynn Kornegay Stewart of Milano, TX.
My grandfather was son of Alex Kornegay Sr. (12/28/1895-1/12/85) and Lorene Carr Kornegay. He had eight siblings, but all but my grandfather and his brother died at very young ages. My grandfather's brother is Willard Kornegay of Cameron, TX.
My great grandfather Alex Sr. was the son of Robert Arnold Kornegay and Martha Susan Harrell Kornegay. That's as far as I know. If I have helped you, or you can add to my info, please let me know. I am very interested in tracing my history farther back. Thank you!
