hello i do have a carnigie / kornegay in my family. my great grandmother is ola heneritta pate her death certificate is spelled carnigie her mother was sara carnigie born 1866 who married john h pate. also have been on contact with a long lost cousin of ola pate sister ala on her death certificate they even spelled her last name differntly.i think something like konegy. this is all i have so far starting from sara and going backwards:
sara carnigie born 1866 parents are : Robert Carnigie/kornegay born 1837 and a sara needham
Louis william Kornegay born 1803 married sara keeton
isaac kornegay born? married hester??
william kornegay born 1742 married elizabeth outlaw
george kornegay born?? married ??
