You're right the Kornegay and Outlaw families have been paired together throughout the generations.
I took a look at some of the names that were contained in your last posted message.
On ancestry.com I found the following:
Mamie Kornegay - Only one was posted on the SSDI. Born 9/17/1896, died 4/21/1994, last residence Goldsboro, NC. The NC death records states that she died at age 97 in Wayne county and it lists her social security number. My father also mentioned a Mamie Kornegay (cousin) that he grew up with.
Samuel Outlaw - noted as "NEGRO" dob 1872, POB Whitaker Nash County, NC, Mother Adaline Wiggins, occupation day laborer. (Liberty Township is on the census record.
Alice Outlaw - One one listed dob 5/1871, pob DeKalb Kershaw County, SC, DOD 4/11/1938, Mother Mary Thomas, Father William Henry Outlaw. (as per the gene pool records)
James Outlaw - appears in the 1790-1890 census record for Bertie, Beaufort, Duplin, Hertford, Wayne, and Gates Counties. In the 1870 census one James Outlaw lived inthe same township of Wolfscrape as my David Outlaw (related??). And another James Outlaw during the same year lived in the township of Indian Springs as my GGGF, E. Kornegay. There are also several records for James Outlaw in the gene pool records as early as 1744. And there is one James Outlaw buried in the "family cemetery" located at " Outlaws Bridge, Duplin County., NC" I wonder if this place still exists. I'll try a graveyard search for Duplin County later to see if this place is still in existence. Couldn't find anything on VINNIE, or ABRAHAM. I've added the names that you mentioned to my list of look-ups and will post anything that I find to this website.
