Thanks for the info. We may have a connection. Thomas Edward Brown and Heneretta Elizabeth Kornegay (that is how her name is spelled on Calvin's SSN Application) gave birth to their son, Calvin Brown in Gause, Milam County, TX on Sept. 16, 1886. They also had a dau., Elizabeth "Betsy" Brown. I don't have much info on Betsy. I remember my mother telling me that her Aunt Betsy was in the oil business before the Great Depression. My memory supplies the towns of Galveston and Corpus Christi, TX for Betsy. She married an Unk. Bennett. I'll post more as I get the information. Thanks, again, for your info.
