John Kornegay N.C.>FL & Emma Kornegay

Am searching for any information on John Kornegay, listed in Hamilton Co. Florida in the 1900 Census. John was born in North Carolina, July 1856 and was apparently living with a second wife, Nannie, age 24 years born in Florida. Believe this John may have been the father of my Great
Grandmother, Emma Gertrude Kornegay, born August 14, 1884 in Georgia. Emma married in Florida during the year 1899, Mack Sherman Holcomb. Mack Sherman Holcomb was born Jan. 29, 1880 in Banks Co., GA. Any clue regarding the parents and/or siblings of Emma Gertrude Kornegay would be appreciated more than I can say. A death certificate for one of Emma's children lists her maiden name spelled "Kournig", but am virtually certain it was Kornegay. Thank You.
