I have just started researching my Kornegay and Simmons lines and noticed your posting. John Simmons and Caroline Kornegay are in my line. Their daughter Lucy W. Simmons was my great great grandmother. John is believed to be the son of Daniel Simmons and Penelope Hargett. He would be a brother to your Daniel Hargett Simmons. John was born August 13, 1807. I would appreciate any information on this family, and letting me know if indeed John even belongs in it!

Thank you,
Louise Fair Henderson
