My family name is Kosek. This part of the family came to the US in 1890, when my grandfather Frank W. Kosek was about 2 years old. His mother was Jennie (maiden name unknown). His father is thought to have been Joseph. He had a brother named Joseph and a sister Alvina who married H.F. Bluhm of St Paul. We believe that all of them settled in Minnesota but are not positive of that. Frank W. married Marie Huss and lived in Minnesota until he died in 1926. I don't know what happened to Joseph, father or son, but Joseph the son had a son named Melvin. My father said if the name was spelled Kosek and they are in this country they are all related.
