I have a name similar to Koslowsky in Pennsylvania. My great grandmother was Catherina. She died in 1892; her husband Fredrick Miller died in 1895.He put the children in an orphan's home in Pennsylvania. The orphan's sheet lists Catherina's brother as Valentine "Koslososki", but was written by the Lutheran minister.I also have baptisim records for their children which spell the name with different variations each time, but with a "w" thrown in by the Catholic priest.Catherina, Frederick, and Valentine lived in DuBois, PA.I can't find anything prior to the 1880's for any of them.
