My husband's grandmother was born in Budapest, Hungary. Her family immigrated to western Canada in the early 1900's. Her name was Julianna - her father's name was John ottmar Kovacs and her mother was Julianna Kestus. They added an "h" to the name for some reason after they settled here (Kovacs to Kovach). We're uncertain of all the genealogy but have complied quite a bit. If anyone is interested they can email me at bonny.d@sasktel.net
