On an old census that I found it showed their native tongue as Magyar. It also shows John Bresnak as being born in Hungary & his wife Julia (Kovacs) as being born in Czecholslavakia. I however had always heard that they were both from Hungary. They were married here in the states and resided in Bethlehem, PA. According to the census John came to USA in 1899 & Julia came in 1901. Bresnak is Americanized however I do not know what it was before that. I have found things under Bresnak, Bresniak, Bresnyak, Brznak, Beresnak & Breznak. I'm just not really sure if that is even them because they all show different birth places like Hungary, Czechoslavakia, Austria, & Austria-Hungary. I really appreciate your help
