Good Evening Janet

I too am looking for some information about a Josef Franz Kovacs. I found several of his paintings and would like to know if he is still living and other information. Here is what I know: He was born June 10, 1920 In Stuhweissenberg, Budapest. He attended the Academy of Religious Art in Budepest. He painted for the former president of Hungary and his family on their private ranch. The president at this time was Hurty Graff Estes Hasy. Then in 1944-45 he was a prisoner of war. He was liberated in 1945 and became the cook for the Third Division 41st Infantry (Army) in Salzburg, Austria. He has held numerous positions, painting for many prominent artists and business. For the past three years he has painted in his own studio in Kaiserslautern, Germany. I can not find any more info about him or where is is now or if he immigrated to the United States. Would love your help

Thank You
