KOVACS in Indiana

I have come across some info of interest to KOVACS researchers. I found an online article from the St. Joseph County Public Library's Main Branch in South Bend, Indiana. It references the emmigration of a family of Gyorgy KOVACS in the late 1800's.

The article can be found at

Part of the FORWARD is as follows:

An article, "During the First Half Century", was written by Vendel Hajdu. It depicts the Hungarians' emigration and assimilation into their new life in South Bend. Its original Hungarian form can be found on page 22 of the Golden Jubilee Album of the Magyar People in South Bend, Indiana, 1882-1932.
