Dear Karen,

My maiden name was Kozar. My father was Boleslaw Konstanty Kozar born in or around Vilno, Poland in 1909. He was stationed in Scotland during WWII where met my mother and immigrated to Canada in 1957. The story I heard when young was we were originally to join my father's oldest brother who had a farm in New Jersey. His name was Anthony (sp?) Kozar and would have been born around 1900 or so but he died before we could immigrate. Their parents were Monika and Thomaz Kozar. Anthony's son once visited us from the U.S. and his name was Stanley Kozar, I would guess his birth year at around 1945 or so. Hope this helps. If you find a connection I would love to hear about it. Have lost touch with my father's family in Poland.

Good luck

Emila
