I too am looking for information regarding my family history. This information was given to me and I am not sure how much of it is accurate: i am from the Chicago area. My grandfather's name is Ignatius Kozlowski, He was a baby of 1 or 2 when he came to this country in 1842/1843 - to what point I do not know.... Grandpa Ignatius worked in a granery elevator, for how long I do not know. He fathered 16 children, my father Anthony Peter, was the youngest, grandpa was 63 years old when my dad was born. Grandpa died in 1943 at the age of 101 or 102. A few of my uncles names are: Uncle Duke (John),who was mustard gassed in WWI, others are Uncle Joe, Uncle Stanly, Aunt Kathren was married to Uncle Baggs, the undertaker, Uncle Al, was was born in 1899, and Uncle Casimer. Two other names we find are Aunt Mary and Aunt Ann. Two of the children died before 1899. I do not have my grandmothers name as yet. We believe grandpa had been married twice. Whenever I get more information I will post it.
Perhaps one of you are related and has more information, or if not keep watching maybe I will locate something meaningful.
