thanks for your reaction. All Kraemers might be German or French from start? My guess is that a great part of French Kraemers were driven out of France during religious wars. Some ended in southern part of Germany, Schwitzerland etc. and some went further on to other countries like Denmark. Some came here in 1760 from Mannheim, Pfalz (today Germany) to Frederiks near Viborg - and some to Fredericia and Kolding, among them Johann Christian Kraemer, who died in Kolding 1808. His successors are in Denmark, Norway and USA today
