I'm still looking for my great grandfather Daniel Kirkendall whom I was told was killed by train in 1894. Recently Tri-County genealogy pages posted Bradford Co. deaths in that era for the letter "K" and NO Daniel Kirkendall listed. I'm investigating the possibility that he did not die but maybe left the family and remarried as I've found the following information that may fit his age era:

1900 census - Corning , NY
Kirkendall, Daniel age 32 , born Aug. 1867, PA, parents born PA, married 3 years, RR brakeman, rents house on E. Pultney St., Corning, NY
wife Lillian - age 26, born Aug. 1873, NY
       Irene - age 1
       Mamie - age 1/12

and 1930 census - Corning, NY
Daniel R Kirkendall 60 (1869) Pennsylvania Head White Corning, Steuben, NY , born PA
       Lillian age 58 wife
Irene A. Kreamer age 31, divorced daughter
       Lillian H. " age 12 granddaughter
       Harry age 10 grandson

i noted discrepancy in Daniel's age.

Would like info on this Daniel R. Kirkendall to see if there is a possiblity of him being my Daniel possibly married previously to Martha J. Ellis and lived in Bradford Co., PA

if you are related to Irene or her children Lillian and Harry and have info on Daniel please please can you contact me at so I can prove or disprove Daniel R. being the one I'm looking for?
