I too am attempting to find a Kramer ( sp?) in my famly tree. I was just told that my Grandmother talked of a MR. Kreimer who we believe may have married her mother after her fathers death. My Grandmother was born in Philadelphia in 1891. Her maiden name was BERNDT.

Her mother would have been Anna Rosalie Henrietta BERNDT.

If you happen to run across a husband for the above, I'd appreciate a shout.

Rumor has it Mr. Kreimer was a tailor.

I happened to be looking in the 1890 Philadelphia City Directory and found no spellings for "Kraemer". For the spelling of "Kramer" I found a number of Charles, and Georges, and one Henry, but none were living at the same address. No clues there.
