Dear Diane,
I think this will be shocking for you as it was for me. My great grandmother was Maria Zaleta and her husband, my great grandpa was Juraj Krajnak.
My beloved grandpa is Matej Krajnak and Maria and Juraj are his parents. Matej, Ondrej, Tono they are still alive. Juraj and Maria are buried here, in Martin. My mom is born Krajnakova. They are from Olejnikov originally bur relocated in Martin years and years ago. Our Hrabcak family lived in East of Slovakia and I am in contact with Lubo Hrabcak who is as my brother to me. You had ir right, there is no Krajnik, only Krajnak.
