Hi. My last name is spelled different from yours but sometimes when people came to America names were not always read correctly.

But my grandfathers name was John Charles Kracker or Charles John Kracker. He once lived in Detroit and then moved to Harbor Beach which is in the thumb of Michigan. He was married twice that we know of and his second wife's name was Hattie. I don't remember his first wife's name.

We think his family first settled on the Ohio valley and then he and maybe a brother came to Michigan.

Does anything of this mean anything to you?
