A membership with the Crowl Name Association will put you in touch with many researching the name and its 42 varient spellings. The name is English and German. We have been an association since 1985.

A book is being written about the two Johan Michael Grauels who came to America, the first in 1733 and the second in 1736.

We have started a DNA project to answer questions that traditional research have just not been able to answer.

A membership is not required for participation in the DNA study.
