I am also looking for a "mystery" Kreiner, but I don't know if your Kreinersare related.
My great grandmother we think was named Ella Kreiner. She supposedly came over on
a boat of German immigrants. Since my grandfather was born around 1893-1894, in
Pennsylvania, she must have been in the states at that time. We don't know if she
ever actually married either father, but we know she had at least two boys--the eldest
was Clyde Schwartz (could have also been his father's name) and the younger boy was
Harold White. We know she lived in Buffalo, too, at one time. She was reportedly bossy
and independent. Don't know if this situation could account for any broken ties or not.
My mother didn't know much about her grandmother. What area were your Kreiners from?
I'll try to keep an eye out for yours as well.

KC
