Don't know if you saw my post, but I am also looking for any relatives of my grandfather,
Clyde Schwartz, born in (maybe Titusville), PA, about 1893-1894. We think his mother's
name was Ella Kreiner and that she came from Germany--but we don't know if she came
alone or with family or when she came over. We know she lived in Buffalo at one time.
We think she also had a younger son named Harold White (different father). From what
we understand, both children were in a Catholic orphanage for an undetermined length
of time (maybe in NY). I don't know if Harold was born in PA or not--he seems to have
disappeared. Clyde was in the Navy and in Europe around 1916-1917. We don't know
if Ella (if that's her name) was actually married to Clyde's or Harold's father. So, don't
know if these could be any of your PA relatives.
