Virginia Kreiner - to Dianne Sealey

Dear Dianne,

Melba Kreiner was married to Leonard Franzer in Burlington, Ohio. Oct 31. Melba had a sister named Nora who married a Surber. Nora died in a nursing home in St. Louis. Melba had a brother named Ralph Kriener. He was also married and had a daughter named Virginia. Which was Melba's niece. Virgina was a nurse. She died from breast cancer at an early age. I do believe she was either married or engaged. But to whom I will have to search. I don't know if the marriage lasted. I also have to search to find out where she live. I don't believe it was in the United States, for some reason I believe Aunt Melba (Pat) said she lived elsewhere. I know after she died she gave Aunt Melba her soltaire ring. And Aunt Pat made a ring out of the diamond she had. It resemble a half heart indicating a broken heart. I need to check with my older sister to find out what happened. I know she loved Virgina very much. She also took care of her sister Nora Surber in the nursing home. Aunt Pat was such a faithful christian. I hope I can find out more for you and when I do I will pass on the information. Do you know this Carl Murray? Did he divorce Virgina (that's if they were married or did he die before Virgina. Have to find out the date of Virgina's death.

Betty (Franzer) McCafferty
